You are not a nobody
Even though somebody
Wants you to think you are
But...do you think you are?

Let me ask you a question,
Do they have the right to say
Or speak negativism into you?
Don't you accept that notion,
As though you can't have a say
About the life given to you.

Do not give them the power
To have the rule over you,
By thinking you haven't power
To say what becomes of you.

Who has the right to write the guide
Than the guy who made the product?
You are not the naysayers' product,
Your Maker is the one true Guide.

The Lord God who made you
Hates it when they oppress you.
He's got the best for you
Forget what they said of you.

No, you're not a nobody.
He says you are somebody.
Yes! YOU are somebody.

Pour some water on a duck
In seconds check the duck
You'll find no drop of water,
The duck shakes off the water

And now, like the duck,
It's totally up to you
To get out of the dock
And take God's gift to you.
