HOW COULD YOU?
You begged and married her,
But now she's too old for you.
So, I ask you, how could you?
You put her in the family way
And her water broke for you
Then you packed and moved away
So, I ask you, how could you?
Your stepdaughter was only seven
She trusted and looked up to you
You took to bed...a girl of seven!
Again I ask, how could you?
A judge of a court, they made you.
Falsely of rape, was a man accused,
Thirty years, you gave the accused.
Now, I ask, judge, how could you?
Once and again, you denied him
A DNA test that could've freed him
Thirty years later the test freed him
How could you, you, do that to him?
He came with teachings and healings,
You've heard He died for me, for you
Yet you hate Him and His teachings.
How could you? But He loves you.
You still have a choice
To listen to His voice
That still small voice
That is your best choice
Can this judge be born again?
Will God ever forgive his sins?
This judge has everything to gain,
As the Judge truly forgives sins.
The Judge does not condemn you.
Me? Neither do I condemn you.
Forget all the "how could you?"
