Who are the real victims?

The men who walk away,
Who go on to make more victims,
From whom they also get away?

Who are the victims of divorce?
The women who are in pieces torn
By mistakes made without remorse,
Whose children are also torn?

The men are not the real victims,
They have "enjoyed" half their life
The women aren't the real victims.
Although cut deeply by this knife.

The victims are now on the school bus,
They must not miss the school bus.
The victims have left the school bus,
Mama alone can't afford the school bus.

The victims drop out of college,
Drop into the dark street corners
Drop into the wraps of a liege
And end up subjects of coroners.

Although some meet and marry,
Birthing some, aborting some.
But when victim and victim marry
Another victim becomes the sum.
